Tournament Rules

Rules

Each tournament will start at 7:15 pm sharp each night. Once the 1st hand is dealt there will be NO FURTHER ADMITTANCE into the tournament. If you know your going to be late, please make arrangements. A place will be held for the first 2 blind times. Your blinds will be posted untill you arrive. If you fail to arrive in time for the 3rd blind, your chips will be removed from the table and you will be eliminated.

Points will be awarded based on your placement in the tournament, with additional bonus pts being awarded to the players who make the final 9 person table in each tournament. Below is an example of points awarded for a 22 person tournament.

*** TEN Bonus points will be awarded to the player who eliminates the current Champions Pool point leader from a tournament. If more than one person splits the pot that eliminates the leader, the 10pts will be split between them. If the current leader successfully defends he/she will be awarded the bonus points ( 10 points )

Players will start with $2500 in chips. 8-$25, 8-$100, 3-$500

The blinds will increase every 30 minutes and will be as follows:

* 25 / 50
* 50/100
* 75/150
* 100/200
* 200/400
* 400/800
* 500/1000
* 1000/2000

* 2000/4000

In order to qualify to play in the Final Tournament you must play in at least 3 of the qualifying tournaments.
There will be no entry fee to play in the Final Tournament. Players participating will be given chips based on the number of points accumulated throughout the year.

The 1st place points finisher will receive 40 times his/her points in chips.
2nd-10th will receive 26 times their points in chips.
11th-20th will receive 20 times their points in chips.
The remainder of the field will receive 14 times their points in chips.
All totals will be rounded up to the nearest 50 chips.
